Slots go two to three weeks ahead. Your guide will say which ones to take and when.
Getting around
The metro has three lines, but the centre is easier on foot. With a pushchair, take buses and taxis.
Heat
July and August reach +36°. Plan museums for the afternoon and walks for morning and evening.
Eating out with kids
Dinner in Rome starts at 19:30. Before that, only bars and gelaterias are open.

Kids tours in Rome in Russian

Kidster runs nine programmes in Rome: quests around the Colosseum and the historic centre, tours of St Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums, Leonardo's workshop, a gladiator school and cooking workshops. All are built for children aged 4 to 16 and run in small groups of up to five.

The tours are led by Russian-speaking guides who live in Rome. Booking goes through a manager, who confirms the date and explains the payment terms. Museum entrance tickets are paid separately, and your guide will say in advance which time slots to buy.
