Leonardo da Vinci's workshop is not an ordinary museum. Here everything can be touched, started, tested and explored. Cogs turn, mechanisms work and Leonardo's inventions can be seen in action. The quest turns a museum visit into a real adventure: children become apprentices to the great inventor. They will decode his mirror writing, test his engineering ideas and find out how a man of the 15th century managed to imagine things that became real only centuries later.
How the tour goes
- Children take on tasks set by “Master Leonardo” and set out to explore his workshop.
- During the quest they will:
- decode Leonardo's mirror writing
- examine his mechanisms and inventions
- start working models of his machines
- test how his engineering ideas actually work
- complete tasks and collect clues
- The quest runs as a game and a set of experiments, so the children are on the move and exploring the whole time.
